Anzlie Ingram, a student at Southside High School, has been selected for the High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. Anzlie will perform the clarinet in February with the Honors Band. Participation in the Honors Ensemble is limited to the highest-rated young performers from across the world.

Anzlie auditioned for the Honors Performance Series and was accepted after a review by the Honors Selection Board. Acceptance to the elite group is a direct result of the talent, dedication, and achievements demonstrated in their application and audition recording.

Anzlie has studied music for 8 years and is an active member of the Southside High School Symphonic Band. In addition, she has performed with the Lafayette Concert Band, Acadian Wind Symphony, All-South Honor Band, and LSU Stately Oaks Band in numerous performances. Over the years, Anzlie has achieved several musical milestones, including multiple selections to the District Three Southwest Louisiana Band Directors' Association Honor Band and the Louisiana Music Educators Association All-State Band. She has also earned the All-State Academic Award. In response to their selection, Anzlie said, "I’m incredibly honored to be selected to perform at Carnegie Hall. This opportunity is the result of years of hard work and the support of my teachers, family, and fellow musicians. I’m excited to share the stage with such talented individuals and to make the most of this amazing experience."

Anzlie will join performers from across the United States and abroad for a special performance at the world-famous Carnegie Hall, a venue that marks the pinnacle of musical achievement. The finalists will come together in New York City, where they will have the opportunity to learn from world-renowned conductors, collaborate with other performers, and experience the city's vibrant atmosphere. The Honors Performance will take place on February 8, 2026, and is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased in advance of the performance through the Carnegie Hall box office.

“Being selected to the Honors Performance Series is something each Finalist should be extremely proud of accomplishing,” said Marion Gomez, Music Director for the Honors Performance Series. “We processed nearly 10,000 nominations this year and have selected the most talented student performers from around the world. Working with these conductors and performing at these renowned music halls is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that these musicians will never forget.”

The Honors Performance Series was created to showcase accomplished individual student performers on an international level by allowing them to study under master conductors and perform in world-renowned venues. The Honors Performance Series is proudly presented by WorldStrides, the nation’s leading educational travel organization.
